The Crown range of stockpots feature a double-layer interior that creates a steam jacket around the lower 2/3 of the pot. The laminated housing contains factory-sealed distilled water. The outside of the kettle is fully insulated. The bottom of the pot is hemispherical for better heat circulation.
The built-in control panel is located on the right front of the unit, giving the operator a wide field of vision and easy use. Standard controls include direct immersion thermostat operating from 74°C to 135°C and 50 psi, sight glass, cooking light, pressure gauge and electronic ignition with ignition indicator light. Comes standard with 3-piece split faucet holder. Safety features include low water shutoff with indicator light, pressure switch, pressure reducing valve and 100% safe gas shutoff valve.
The stock pot rotates on a trunnion connected to the tilt mechanism and console. The tilt design allows the stockpot to be tilted over 90° for complete emptying. The console is constructed of drip-proof stainless steel cladding and is supported by all-welded 1-5/8 in. (41 mm) diameter stainless steel legs with flanged feet for securing to the floor.
